The pathogen is characterized by its active ubiquity and resistance to several antimicrobial drugs, including ampicillin, chloramphenicol, kanamycin, streptomycin, and tetracycline. Additionally, poly-resistant bacteria <italic>Acinetobacter</italic><italic> </italic><italic>baumannii</italic><italic> </italic>and <italic>Klebsiella</italic><italic> </italic><italic>pneumoniae</italic><italic> </italic>were found in the discharge of other loci. Microbiological diagnostics performed using modern bacteriological analyzers Vitek 2 Compact and Phoenix M50 with a 99 and 90% reliability, respectively, showed Elizabethkingia meningoseptica. The Autof MS 1000 mass spectrometer was used to determine Elizabethkingia anophelis, with a high confidence &gt;9.5 of 10. The pathogen under study was found to be resistant to the main groups of antibacterial agents, but sensitive to high levofloxacin doses. The use of combined antibacterial therapy regimens using meropenem, linezolid, and levofloxacin for 7 days and additional inhalation administration of sodium colistimethate on day 15 showed a positive result with the elimination of all identified microorganisms. The study of this clinical case is beneficial in avoiding difficulties in identifying <italic>Elizabethkingia</italic><italic> </italic><italic>anophelis</italic><italic> </italic>using modern bacteriological analyzers and selecting effective antibacterial therapy regimens and optimizing the duration of their administration, which thus prevents the appearance of a new hospital infection and improves the prognosis of the clinical course of the underlying disease.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Представлен клинический случай инфекции в трахеобронхиальном дереве, вызванной микроорганизмом <italic>Elizabethkingia</italic><italic> </italic><italic>anophelis</italic>, у мужчины с черепно-мозговым ранением. Данный патоген отличается активным повсеместным распространением и природной устойчивостью ко многим противомикробным препаратам — ампициллину, хлорамфениколу, канамицину, стрептомицину и тетрациклину. Кроме того, при исследовании отделяемого из других локусов, были обнаружены полирезистентные бактерии <italic>Acinetobacter</italic><italic> </italic><italic>baumannii</italic><italic> </italic>и <italic>Klebsiella</italic><italic> </italic><italic>pneumoniae</italic>. Результатом микробиологической диагностики, выполненной на современных бактериологических анализаторах Vitek 2 Compact и Phoenix M50 с достоверностью 99 и 90% соответственно, представал микроорганизм <italic>Elizabethkingia</italic><italic> </italic><italic>meningoseptica</italic>. Определить <italic>Elizabethkingia</italic><italic> </italic><italic>anophelis</italic><italic> </italic>у данного пациента до вида с высокой достоверностью &gt;9,5 из 10 позволил масс-спектрометр Autof MS 1000. Выявлено, что исследуемый патоген был резистентен к основным группам антибактериальных средств, однако чувствителен к высоким дозам левофлоксацина. Применение комбинированных схем антибактериальной терапии с использованием меропенема, линезолида, левофлоксацина длительностью 7 суток, а также дополнительное ингаляционное введение колистиметата натрия, на 15-е сутки дали положительный результат с элиминацией всех выявленных микроорганизмов.</p> <p>Изучение данного клинического случая позволит избежать трудностей при идентификации <italic>Elizabethkingia</italic><italic> </italic><italic>anophelis</italic><italic> </italic>на современных бактериологических анализаторах, поможет с выбором эффективных схем антибактериальной терапии и оптимизацией длительности их назначения, что, в конечном итоге, предотвратит появление новой госпитальной инфекции и улучшит прогноз клинического течения основного заболевания.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Elizabethkingia anophelis</kwd><kwd>microbiological examination</kwd><kwd>antibacterial therapy</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Elizabethkingia anophelis</kwd><kwd>микробиологическое исследование</kwd><kwd>антибактериальная терапия</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Vandamme P, Bernardet JF, Segers P, Kersters K, Holmes B.
